How happy are you with your job? Would you rather be spending your time travelling the world doing interesting things and making everyone jealous with your Instagram pictures? Well the folks over at STōK Cold Brew Coffee are making that dream come true for 3 lucky people.

STōK are a US based cold brew company who make a variety of cold coffee products, including some really interesting looking coffee shots for supercharging your drink with extra caffeine. They clearly aren’t afraid to do things slightly differently, and that definitely shows with this crazy offer!

So what’s the deal?

Calling it the STōK-battical, they are giving the opportunity for 3 people to get $30,000 to give up the day job (at least for a while) and live out their wildest dreams. The idea is that if you have a crazy dream that you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t had the opportunity of the money, you have until Monday 2nd September to apply for a chance to live out your fantasy. To apply you have to send in an up-to 300 word summary of what you do for a living, and what you would do with the $30,000.

In exchange all they are asking is that you complete your STōK-battical between October 1st and December 15th 2019, and that you capture your adventures via videos and pictures and post them on social media. Let’s be honest, you would be doing this anyway to make sure all your friends are suitably jealous! Full terms and conditions can be found on their website.

Coffee travel destinations

If you’re looking for a coffee adventure and want to travel the world, winning a competition isn’t your only option. There are some great places to visit all around the world where you can learn more about coffee culture and history, and experience coffee in a way that you just can’t do from a coffee shop in the UK.

São Paulo, Brazil: As one of the biggest coffee producers on earth, it’s no surprise that coffee is a massive part of Brazilian culture. There are lots of great places around the city to taste some of the very best local coffees, or you could venture out of the city to visit one of the many coffee farms. The incredible scenery in Brazil makes this an experience you just can’t get anywhere else in the world.

Istanbul, Turkey: Turkish coffee is unlike the expresso-based beverages most of us are used to, and where better to experience this than directly from the source. Here coffee is brewed with very finely ground beans, which are left in rather than being filtered out, creating a very strong, rich drink with an almost sludgy texture.

Milan, Italy: Italians take their coffee very seriously, and nowhere more so than in Milan, the birthplace of the espresso. Some of the very best and most famous coffee shops on the planet can be found in Milan, making it a very popular destination for coffee lovers from all over the world.

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: Ethiopia is the motherland of coffee, and much of the culture here revolves around coffee agriculture. Here you can experience local coffee roasting and brewing in the traditional Ethiopian way, which locals do in their own homes rather than in big commercial roasteries like we’re used to in Europe.

Hanoi, Vietnam: Another one of the biggest coffee producers and exporters in the world, Vietnam is the top tourist stop for coffee lovers in Asia. Here you can try a wide array of unusual drinks that you won’t find anywhere else, such as coffees with egg, coconut sorbet, or the traditional Vietnamese coffee made with sweetened condensed milk.

WMF coffee machines offer the perfect combination of efficiency and quality, using state of the art automation technology to craft amazing tasting coffee-based drinks, without the need for a trained barista. Download a brochure to see our full range.
